PRINCIPLES AND TECHNIQUES WITHIN THE COMMUNICATION CENTER

A
seminar for public-safety and communication center supervisors- especially those
who have less than three years experience and who want to improve their leadership
skills. Participants will explore techniques they need to promote high performance,
cooperation, and job satisfaction among their communication center workers. By the
conclusion of the seminar, participants should understand: (1) supervisory principles
and how they can be applied to public-safety, communication centers; (2) traits and
practices of successful supervisors; (3) techniques for applying supervisory principles
to their work environments; (4) practices to limit legal liabilities in communication
centers; (5) techniques for improving communication center standard operations procedures;
and (6) supervisory responsibilities for equipment and facilities. INSTRUCTOR:

Seminar will be conduct April 22-23,
2009 on the campus of the University of Miami with the exact seminar site
to be noted on your confirmation letter.
Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. each program day.
FEE:
$295 per person. Agencies enrolling
three or more personnel in this program are entitled to claim a 15% team discount.

you cannot attend the program, you must notify Benchmark Professional Seminars, Inc.

Failure to do so will obligate your agency to pay the registration fee. Substitutions
may be made at any time, including the opening session of the program. Mastercard

plus tax rate. This is based on room availability and is subject to change without
notice. Be advised that this rate will be withdrawn thirty days prior to the opening
