EVALUATING ON-THE-JOB
PERFORMANCE SKILL OF CALL-TAKERS/DISPATCHERS
August 21-22, 2008
An all-new
seminar designed for communication center directors and supervisors with focus on
methodologies and techniques that might be utilized in assessing and/or evaluating
the job performance of call-takers and dispatchers. Topics to be covered during this
program include: (1) review of determining pre-employment qualifications; (2) job
task analysis; (3) probationary period for new hires; (4) formal in-service training
for new personnel; (5) developing and implementing a structured training program;
(6) evaluating experienced personnel; (7) agency evaluation review; (8) anchor points;
(9) assessing future supervisors. INSTRUCTOR: Shawn Hogan, Communication Center
Training Consultant, Crestview, Florida.
DATE/LOCATION/TIME
Program
will be conducted August 21-22, 2008 at the Sebastian Police Department, 1201 Main
Street in Sebastian, Florida. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each
day.
FEE
$295 per person. Agencies that enroll three or more personnel
may claim a 15% team discount..

suggested that you make reservations no less than one month prior to the opening
session of the program.
