PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION
February 23-24, 2009
A two-day seminar for persons who are new or relatively inexperienced in performing pre-employment, background investigations. The seminar will focus on background investigations within law enforcement, security, or government organizations. Topics include: (1) importance of the pre-employment background investigation; (2) what may or may not be asked during an investigation; (3) federal laws relating to employment of the handicapped; (4) various resources that may be used during the course of an investigation; (5) pre-employment interview techniques; and (6) various tests that can be used in background investigations. INSTRUCTOR: Chief Phil Ludos, Greenacres Police Department, Greenacres, Florida

DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Seminar will be conducted February 23-24, 2009 at the Greenacres Police Department, 2995 Jog Road, Greenacres, Florida. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

FEE: $295 per person. Agencies enrolling three or more personnel in this program are entitled to a 15% team discount.
